Hockey Rules The Hearts Of A Nation

Hockey north of the Canada-US border seems to carry more sway than any time in politics, national or international. Hockey is much more than a sport to most Canadians, it is a catalyst for memories of our youth. Whether to play hockey on a frozen pond after the snow has been shoveled to the edges, or playing in the street between cars and until the lights are on. Hockey brings back memories crystal clear to most Canadians. The habit of being mostly boys, but times have changed, and with the rise of female hockey, many educated women for present and future will be sharing those same memories. And it why hockey means much more than a sport to most of us. It is a nostalgic reminder of a less troubled past, and recall a happy childhood.

Not Just A Journey sedimentary

Hockey is the sport the first major of all, for various reasons. It really exciting to watch. Because the surface of the ice it is played on the very few sports can match the speed at which players move on the field The game moves like a game, really moves! Both the players and the puck. The tide may soon turn into a hockey game, and you really can not lower your guard up for a moment. There may be long periods without scoring, with lots of back and etc action. But then, in a heart beat scores team, and maybe a second or third goal soon after, and fortunes have been reversed. I can think of no other sport causing cardiac arrest such, retention of breath, the sheer intensity as when another team is pushing for a goal during a power play or man advantage after pulling their goaltender. Usually, it resembles a kind of train accident in front of the goalkeeper, with stroke succession, as the goalie goes down and time and again. Defender sliding desperately to risk injury to stop the puck, in the hope as the final seconds will elapse and the hockey game will be theirs.

The Great and The Great One

These nostalgic memories of hockey not only of our own epic battles played between street curbs and mounds of recently shoveled snow. There was of course the legends of hockey fighting against each other. Hockey Night in Canada is very much a national treasure, as any this nation. During our formative years to watch great hockey teams, and their rivalry was both a right and a patriotic duty. And then relive those moments in our own backyard and Street skating, as we have assumed the personality of our favorite teams and players to crush the neighborhood children with adverse movements Hockey spectacular should be followed only be even more spectacular goals. Really long be remembered and cherished.

It's Not Just Our Game

The game is now shared. With other players, and other nations. Everybody plays, and their generations and future are to build their own memories of hockey. Andthat's OK. I just wonder if these memories will vote their hearts and nations one day when they not ours.
