Soild win over a decent team.

Offense looks good.Trent Edwards looked really good. All this guy has
to do is be consistent. He is still very new to the NFL.
So the inconsistency is expected.Be solid don't try to be a hero.
That's all we need in his second year.

I'm not sure who has taken over Robert Royal's body? This guy I have
stated I think he was one of the worst signings in a long time.He came
in suppose to be a big time blocking TE.The guy still can't block but
for some reason is looking better receiving.
He still is way over payed but atleast he is doing something now.I
like Fine at TE too.I wouldn't be surprised to see him getting some
more playing time later in the year.

The defense looked solid.I think they will look even better once we
get the blitzing going. We have to figure out who is going to be our
nickle and dime CB.We look to have good depth at the CB spot.

The special teams looked good.McKelvin with a great return for a TD.We
new this guy was a really good returner when we drafted him.We already
have probably the 2nd or 3rd best kick returner in the NFL.So its
going to be interesting to see who gets to return kicks.I think both
should get shots during the regular season.Mix it up between McKelvin
and Mcgee.The Mc
return crew!

I been thinking about Jason Peters. There are a few options you could
take with this guy.You could sign him to a big contract, trade him(1st
and something else EMO)or just let him hold out.My thinking right
now,Is sign him to a big contract. That probably means we won't be able
to sign Evans.I just think it's way way harder to find a LT then a
WR.We have Hardy and Parish. We can let Evans play in a contract year
and also see what we have in our WRs.Then go out and get a FA WR or
draft a WR.If need be.

Great game all aound. The play calling was especially good. Play action
pass? When was the last time we saw that?

Trent played with some confidence, and avoided the quick check downs.

I agree with your position on Peters, but I disagree with your position
on Evans. Hardy has not played a single down in regular season yet, and
Parish is not a #2 WR. Roscoe cannot beat out Reed, and Reed at best is
a borderline #2. Roscoe reminds me a whole lot of Beebe. He's quick,
fast, and works wonders in the open field. He's just not an everydown
type of WR.

I said this after game one.I have liked what I have seen from the new
offense.
Seemed so basic last year.Hopefully this is signs of what's to come
during the season.

Yes.He gave us two or three games like this lasy year.I don't really
mind the check downs that much.Sometimes that's the best option. To
keep from being sacked or the back is the only one open.I think some
of the best QBs in the NFL are great and throwing to the
backs(brady, manning).Keeps you out of alot of bad plays. He needs to
get the ball down feild more tho.

I agree about Parish.I think he is more of a slot guy.I think he is
very under
used.I don't think he gets enough play.I agree with you about Hardy as
well.
I havn't liked Reed since after his rookie year.He has showed me
nothing. The only reason he is still on the team is because we have no
one that can play the #2 WR yet.I don't think the Bills can sign both
Evans and Peters to a huge contract.Because both will be looking for
top money. To me the better option is to sign Peters over Evans.

The only option I think you have if you sign Peters is letting Evans
go.So with that said you have to let him play out his final year and
see what Hardy can do.
If Hardy stands out and looks like a #1 WR you can pick up a vet and
draft a WR.If he doesn't stand out,you might have to sign a mid range
vet and draft a WR early.
