back up QB

i am not a brian leftwich fan - and i live in jax - but he looked good last
night - even against the second or third team. shame bills did not go after
him for a backup role. his windup motion appears better so someone got to
him on mechanics.

right now- if both came into camp at the start - JP or Leftwich - who would
u prefer as backup?

But JP is known to the coaches, respected by his team mates, and familiar
with the offense. IMO---No question---JP

I agree.Just saying im not a fan of either.JP knows the offense.So
that puts him over the top of Leftwich.

I will give JP some credit. He did look better against the Colts then I
think I ever seen him.He uselly is moving his feet around and jumping
in the pocket.Like a kid with A.D.D.He still holds the ball to
long. They didn't let him throw the ball down field one time.Very
vanilla O.That's what we need him to do anways. If he has to step
in.Just manage the game.He looked much more calm last night.I think
that has to do with us finally having a good Oline.I'm very glad
Walker is fine.He is playing LT as good if not better then
Peters.Chambers looked good at RT as well.Still I would like to see us
sign Peters.
