Boy, wouldn't ol' Brett look good in a Bills' uniform right about
now......

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- Bills starting quarterback Trent “ I have a
coffee cup in the emergency room with my name on it” Edwards won't
play in Sunday night's preseason game against the Indianapolis Colts
because of a bruise above his right kneecap.

Edwards missed his third straight practice Friday since knocking knees
in a collision with running back Marshawn “ I thought it was a pot
hole” Lynch on Tuesday night.

"It's making minimal progress," Edwards said.

Edwards, who walked with a limp throughout the workout, was optimistic
that he'll be ready for Buffalo's final preseason game against Detroit
on Thursday.

The Bills host Seattle in their season opener Sept. 7.

Backup J.P. “throw it to Evans into triple coverage” Losman will get
the start against the Colts in place of Edwards.

Receivers Roscoe “China Doll” Parrish (knee) and rookie James “we
should have used our 1st rounder on someone else” Hardy (hamstring)
also will not play against the Colts....

This really sucks.I was looking foward to seeing this game.The 3rd
preseason game.You get to see the starters for atleast a half.Were
going to have so many back ups in its going to look like the 4th pre
season game.I live in Texas and rarely get to see Bills games
live.Havn't had a chance to see Edwards play as much as I would
like.Now have to watch JP Losman look decent against a bad Colts
defense.Hardy isn't going to play(2nd round pick).Don't get a chance
to get a look at him either.I guess I will watch for
Poz,Mckelvin,Stroud and the defense.The defense wont really get a good
test with out Manning playing.


You would think if this was a regular season game Edwards could go.If
not we have probs,If he cant play with a bruse.My hope is that he is
just letting it heal 100% before the season.Not even any talk about
Jason Peters and were coming up on the season fast.Very weird!
