He loved Buffalo and although was away, never left.

We are saddened deeply at his passing..

I, too, am very saddened.

One of the new things I learned in today's coverage is that Wolf Blitzer is
also a Buffalonian and a Bills fan. I knew Tim Russert came from south
Buffalo. Where in Buffalo did Blitzer grow up?

In reading about Russert today, he was very proud of his Buffalo roots,
and that includes his Buffalo Bills. Those are the kinds of fans we
need more of... regardless of how their team is doing in any given
season, they are still a fan of the team they've been a fan of since the
beginning.

Condolences on the tremendous loss of this ambassador to the city of
Buffalo and the Buffalo Bills from a Green Bay Packers fan.

I believe he is from Kenmore. Or is that where Don Criqui is from?

Depending on what bio you read, Blizter was born in Buffalo (or
Germany) of Polish Jews, and graduated from K West High, then from UB.

Wolf Blitzer isn't even 1/100th the journalist/news host/moderator
that Russert was.

Indeed. Class act all the way, plus the biggest advocate for Buffalo
to boot.
