The Bills are, as usual, a bus without a driver.

Hey...if Lynch is suspended, maybe we can pick up Cedric Benson from the
Bears.

I did. Do we know he was?

And even if he was, do we know that he knew he hit her and ran? It was
raining, he was making a turn, and he probably had music blaring. And they
found his car in his driveway in plain sight, not hidden like you'd expect
someone who is trying to cover things up would do.

But since the woman wasn't seriously injured meaning it's a misdemeanor and
this is Marshawn's first offense, he won't see jail time and likely won't
be suspended by the Commish. Especially if he (again assuming he was the
driver) can make the Commish believe he didn't know he hit her.

Supposedly, there are at least two witnesses who identify him as the driver.

There were allegedly other people in the car with him. I doubt if none of
them would have noticed that he hit someone.

But they couldnt find him. This is the kind of scenario that cops frequently
get when the driver is dui and doesnt want to have to deal with the
breathalyzer.

As a fan, I hope you're right. And I hope it's a lesson for him. But this
is the third Bill in the last year who has made the wrong kind of headline.
I hope that's not a trend.

I heard rumors about there being witnesses. A lot will depend on their
credibility.

Well, it they didn't see her *before* they hit her...

I still don't understand why he wouldn't park the car in the garage and
then hide? And I don't see him as the type to answer his door. Half
the time I don't, and I don't have anywhere near his fame or fortune.

Same here. Thankfully the woman is alright. And for her troubles, she
should be receiving a nice fat check.

I agree. But dammit all, these bozos need more direction than how to get to
the closest ATM and * bar.
