Buffalo Police press conference on Lynch

Postby Bender on Tue Jun 03, 2008 10:30 am

It is winding down at the moment now..The long and short of it....

If Marshawn Lynch's attorneys don't come forward with an explanation of
some kind very soon, Lynch will be arrested.

*, if Lynch wasn't driving the damned car then just say who it is.
Even the appearance of covering up and obstructing is exactly the kind
of crap that the Bills don't need.

If he wasn't the driver, it would've been out by now. This looks bad.

It looks like the NFL is now going through the criminal thug phase
that the NBA went through, and they're only starting to clean up their
act now. The Pats have had what, 3 players arrested on drug charges
the last few months? And this is a team that operates on a model of
"character" and professionalism? Whatever.

If Marshawn were the driver, or more precisely if there were evidence he
was, he would have been arrested by now. I'm sure that in the 4 days
since the incident happened they've gone over the videotape of the
camera at the intersection and talked to people there that night who
might have seen Marshawn drinking and then get into the driver side of
his car. They want to talk to him and are threatening obstruction of
justice. Marshawn will walk away from thus unscathed. I hope for his
sake he didn't do it, that if he did it scared the * out of him, and
I'm glad the woman who was hit wasn't seriously injured.

who - i remember one and i think he was released immediatley, and he was not
even an active player [not sure]. faulk may have been one but that was a
misdemeanor. not sure that the pats have ever sought out to be the standard
for "character" and "professionalism". from bryan cox to to irving fryer to
ty law to moss to others - they have not been the model players.

not sure that any team can claim that "model" in todays market.

bills are just another place with knuckle heads as in 31 other cities.

I don't think it's that clear cut. *If* he was the driver, I'm sure
there's a lot of back room pressure to find a way to settle this as
painlessly as possible. Damage control takes time.

Faulk, Nick Kaszur, and some other scrub. Plus, the Rodney Harrison
steroid (HGH?) suspension. Plus Belichick's illegal taping follies.
Moss has actually been a model citizen as a Pat.

If that were the case, the PD wouldn't have called a press conference. I
think they're getting pressure to get some sort of conviction.
