You are entitled to your opinion but the facts don't back any of this.
He had a slightly below avg. QB rating (76.3) and he played in only one
playoff game and the team lost that game...the biggest factor in that
loss his fumble at the goal line. The guy was all hype and a locker room
cancer. A good backup QB, but nothing more.

LMAO.The guy took the team the the playoffs twice.Rob Johnson played
in the game. But Flutie took us there.A game we would have won with
Flutie.

Yeah he fumbled the ball. That's why I said he is a good QB not a great
one.

Granted. I put him somewhat below Ferguson.

Roger that. I'm just saying that prior results are a good indicator of
future performance and this with respect to the Bills long history of *
QB's. Edwards may be good. I think he has Ferguson potential. I doubt it,
but it's possible. It's even possible that he might defy everyone's
expectations and become a superlative QB and make everyone forget about JK.

You're right, Fluite would've easily made that tackle on the pitch back
throwback.

Back to the facts (which you have not, and can not, despute): Fluite was
a below average NFL QB.

No he wouldn't have made that tackle. If Flutie would have started it
wouldn't
have came down to that play.We would have the game wrapped up already.
I'm 100% he wouldnt have sat back there and took sack after sack. The
way
Rob Johnson did. It's been proven that Rob Johnson is one of the worst
QB's
to play in a Bills uni.So yes I think a BETTER QB(Flutie)would have
won us
that game.Unless you think a worse QB gives you the best chance to
win?

Back to the real facts.Your average QB doesn't make the playoffs.Much
less
a below average QB!

Sir Doug Flutie (he was knighted by the Queen of England in 2001)
would have destroyed the Tennessee Titans and won the Super Bowl that
year.

Flutie will be in the NFL Hall of Fame, he is currently curing cancer,
and he is drilling the oil in his backyard to ease the fuel crisis.

How dare you Sir speak ill of the Flutie?

mr dude (President of the Flutie for President fan club)

Do you think Rob Johnson was a better NFL QB then Doug Flutie?

If you think Rob is better your nuts.If you think Flutie is
better,then from what
I have seen better players playing in games give you a better shot to
win.

Doug Flutie is better then Rob Johnson so he would have givin us a
better
chance to win.A game we barely lost.Figure it out.
