Troy Aikman was born November 21, 1966 in West Covina, California. Early in life Aikman, he was Clearly it would be a great athlete. He has shown this time and time again on the football field and, finally, he transformed in one of the great quarterbacks of all time. Aikman had everything it takes to be a top notch players. In addition to great size and strength, Aikman also one of the best minds that the game of football has ever seen. When combined with his desire to win, it is easy to see why he was so successful.

Aikman attended Henryetta High School in Henryetta, Oklahoma. During his time in high school, he was named to the team All states for sports baseball and football. In fact, it was good enough to get drafted by the Mets in New York right out of school secondary. But even if he could have done a lot of money by signing a professional baseball contract, he decided instead to take his game to the University Oklahoma.

At Oklahoma decided to move offenses after an injured Aikman during his first season, he decided to transfer to UCLA. This went well for Aikman as he finished his career with a record of 20-4 and also led the team to two bowl victories.

Aikman was drafted with the first pick in the first round of the NFL draft in 1989 by the Dallas Cowboys in difficulty. Although he struggled adapting to the game early, after a few seasons he has started to take hold.

During his career Aikman has been selected to six Pro Bowl teams. In addition, he has won three Super Bowls and helped put the Cowboys back on the map. After all this, it is not difficult to see why Aikman is considered one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL all time.
